The first, most flexible and versatile of our responses, it is designed to resemble the classic tent, a timeless symbol of mankind’s relationship with the outdoors.
Response 1 offers the opportunity for observation, with the user's low-laying gaze being directed outwards on all sides. With a structural shell of cross-laminated timber, solid wood beams create large openings in the walls, up to 3.6 metres in length.
While the width and the height of the design is fixed, the length of the structure is not defined and can be sized to your requirements and the site's parameters. The exaggerated 45 degree pitch and internal volume afford the option of a standing-height mezzanine level.
